After his recent US Racing Tour James McFadden the current Australian and World Series Champion on his return has announced that he will race the World Series Sprint Cars for the 2013/14 season.
With more than 20 US shows to his credit this tour, 4 top 10 finishes and one fast time James is ready to resume his assault on the WSS Championship.
Back to Back wins in both the National Title and the WSSC James is now aiming to become only the third driver behind Skip Jackson and Brooke Tatnell to win three successive World Series Titles.
The twenty four year old from Queensland with enormous talent proved by his wins in 2012/13 over the Americans including Donny Schatz that he will be a major force during this coming season.
The experience gained by spending our winter racing with the Outlaws will have fined tuned the Queenslander and his aim for three WSS Titles in a row is definitely on.
James spoke to Speedway Australia “”I learnt a lot over there (in the USA),” said McFadden.”We had good car speed on the track, but suffered from a bit of bad luck and just couldn’t put a full night of racing together, unfortunately.”
“We have a great team environment,” he continued. “Glen and I have a great relationship with no egos. We can both admit when we’re wrong and just move on.”
Glen Beaton. James crew chief “We’re excited and ready to go again,” said crew chief Glen Beaton. “We work really hard at getting ready for WSS and hopefully we can come back and get another win this season.”
“James is only 24 so has plenty of racing ahead of him. I don’t see why he can’t keep winning for a long time.”
