March 30:      Eagle Motorsports Director of operators Bill Long announced to the media that Eagle Motorsports would be merging its operation with Schnee Chassis.

The agreement will see Schnee Chassis relocate to the Eagle Motorsports Lincoln facility in Nebraska.

The merged business will strengthen the development and design of their racecar products. Brian Schnee will continue his fabrication and design work at the new facility and customers worldwide will still be able to receive the personal service and advice they have become used to

Bill Long confirmed that Brian will continue to push the design barriers to create innovation and improvements in Sprintcars.

On the merger Brian Schnee was quotes as ““This merger will expand the capabilities of Schnee Chassis and strengthen the relationships that Jean and I have built with our customers for many years.
