Speedcars were in action last night in Brisbane – Nowra – Horsham .
Archerfield Brisbane : Expat Kiwi Michael Kendall continues his domination of the Polar Ice Track Championship wit an all the way win in round 8 . Kendall was again in command right from the start although the crowd would have been hoping that Matt Smith might have something for the Kiwi as he raced so hard , wheel stands and riding the cushion while spectacular had no impact of the smooth fast running of Kendall.

NOWRA is just over two hours south of Sydney and the Nowra Speedway finally were able to present the postponed NSW Speedcar tile. There has been many famous names on the honor board for this prestige title and 26 drivers were all confident of adding their name .
Favorites for the Title were Adam Clarke,Mark brown and Troy Jenkins . Jenkins would suffer car problems and the race would be fought out between Adam Clarke and Mark Brown.

Already with the West Australian and Victorian Titles firmly in his trophy room Clarke had every right to be confident particualrly after his last week ends impressive win at the final of the Lucas OIl Powri Speedcar Super Series in Sydney.
Clarke and his Deane’s Contracting race car raced brown in the Team Fox car all night before taking another State Title Joining Clarke on the podium was Mark Brown and Ant Brien..

A big win must not be too far away from Mark Brown and with the 50 lap due shortly at Sydney and the AGP at Nowra on the schedule there are opportunities .
HORSHAM further south and round 7 of the Lucas Oil Southern Speedcar Tour saw a repeat performance by Travis Mills with another great win . Earlier in the night Mills smashed the track record held by Craig Power by 3 seconds posting a time of 14.60

The next big event on the Speedcar schedule is the 50 lap event that Sydney Speedway will host , Clarke,Brown, Smee , Jenkins,Lambert might be early favorites but maybe Travis “Squizzy” Mills might have other ideas .The final nomination list will be keenly awaited .
