Paul McMahan gets the gig at Destiny Motorsports for 2016
They call it the silly season and the seat changes in the World of Outlaws continue .Today Destiny Motorsports owner Rick Rodgers announced that he had secured the services of Paul McMahan to fill the vacant seat following David Gravel’s move to CJB Motorsports.
“I am extremely excited for the 2016 season already,” Paul McMahan said. “I can’t wait to get home see my family, and then get to the shop and start preparing with the team for the Winter Heat Showdown and the World of Outlaws Tour.”
Destiny Motorsports issued the following statement ““First off this entire team wishes David Gravel the best of luck in his future endeavors, and we thank him for his services,” Destiny Motorsports owner, Rick Rogers said. “Moving forward, we are eager to get going with Paul McMahan in our car. He is a stand up guy off the track, and performance on the track certainly speaks volumes.”
McMahan with 26 career wins with the World of Outlaws will start his driving duties with Destiny Motorsports in Yuma, AZ for the 2nd Annual Winter Heat Showdown taking place in early January with crew chief Scott Benic.
In the past three seasons McMahan sits behind only Pittman and Schatz with Outlaw wins.
